I got a confession one thing I love is to cook!! I am not patient enough for baking but I do enjoy cooking. Since becoming a Mom my joy is greater when I find cooking ideas that won’t take up hours of making. Once in a while I do make those complicated recipes but for the most part I enjoy under an hour of prep and cooking.
This pesto recipe is my go-to at our home. What I love about Pesto is that you can add it into different dishes: pizza, pasta, sandwiches or dipping sauce.
You can make a big batch of sauce, freeze it for later use from a week up to 6 months (if not adding cheese). If you’ll use it within a week or two make sure you are using a mason jar that will preserve it until you are ready to use.
1. On a small pan toast walnuts slightly until golden. Set them on the side until is ready to combine all ingredients.
2. On a food processor add Spinach, Basic, Garlic, Salt & Pepper, Lime juice, Cheese , Walnuts, and oil. Blend them together until is grind to a thick consistency.
